Do you have a formula for success? How can I succeed in my career? What does it take to grow to the next level? How do I get hired in a big company? Where can I find a short cut to a promotion? How do I become a leader and a better person?

These are some common questions that most of us ask knowingly or unknowingly, to ourselves or to others. Those younger than me have asked me and I have asked these questions to my mentors and myself. If so many of us ask the same questions, is there an answer to them?

And the answer is…

The answer is that there is no simple answer. No one else can answer these questions for you, because each question is different and so is every answer.

The good news

There are many resources out there. There are books, seminars, courses and workshops. There are articles and magazines. All of these can present ideas on how to answer these questions.

“That won’t work for me”

Okay! There are all these resources and some of you might say, “Books are too long, I don’t have enough time to read a book.” Or “Seminars and workshops are expensive. I can’t spend that much money.” That is a reasonable argument. Let’s face it, people are busy and they want to save money. And that is why we are here.

The books I read, the people I talked to, the workshop I attended and some that I conducted have helped me find answers to some of these questions. Friends have asked me these questions too and I have found myself helping them, counseling them and sometimes advising them on similar topics. Now, the intention is to flip the pages of my old notebooks, update my notes with changing times and reach a wider audience through this blog.
